The International Trade Fair that is held in New Delhi is the biggest fair organized in India. It pulls a magnanimous amount of people not only from India, but abroad also. Most of the fairs are organized in the pleasant weather conditions, like in the months of September, October and November.

India International Trade Fair
The 14-days long India International Trade Fair begins on 14th November every year. Held at Pragati Maidan, this fair is very popular and major corporate houses from all over the world participate in this event. Besides promoting trade, it also serves as the launching pad for the latest products and services in the market. It is also a major tourist attraction and a number of visitors go to the fair, just to see and compare the product quality and rates offered by different companies. Besides this fair, Pragati Maidan is also the preferred venue for several other fairs and expositions held throughout the year, such as the Auto Expo and the Leather Fair.

Delhi Book Fair
Delhi Book Fair is also an annual fair organized at Pragati Maidan. It is a huge fair wherein books, magazines, study material and computer software on varied topics are exhibited. It is organized by the Indian Trade Promotion Organization. Delhi book Fair is a dream come true for all the book lovers in the country. Apart from making the book lovers happy, it also expands distribution possibilities for the publishers. There are stalls from all over India as well as abroad.

Handicrafts Fair at Delhi Haat
The Handicrafts Fair at Delhi Haat is a continuous affair and attracts many tourists. This fair exhibits handicrafts from different states of the country. The skilled craftsmanship is reflected in the art and crafts of the diverse regions. Some of the other fairs organized here take place at special events and festivals like Teej fair, Diwali fair, etc.

Surajkund Handicraft Mela
Surajkund Handicraft Mela held in Haryana, on the outskirts of Delhi, is also a favorite hotspot. This annual Handicrafts fair is a good place to see skilled artisans at work. Generally, it is organized on a particular state theme and one can see the blend of traditional arts and crafts and the modern trends here. It also offers fashion shows and puppet shows as its highlight.

Phholwalon-ki-Sair
One can listen to Indian classical music and watch the performances by the masters of Southern Carnatic and the Northern music at Phholwalon-ki-Sair. It is a colorful event wherein Indian classical singers mesmerize the listeners with their melodious voice.
